I recall listening to a tape by R. C. Sproul a few years ago that made this point powerfully. It was called “The Misplaced Locus of Amazement.” It was a sermon on Luke 13:1–5. Some people came to Jesus and told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
